HEC Guidance to Universities during COVID-19 Period
The Higher Education Commission has issued the necessary guidelines for all educational institutions to close educational institutions across Pakistan. Due to the 2nd wave of coronavirus rebellion in the country, the government has closed educational institutions from November 26th, 2020 to November 24th, 2020 and educational institutions will continue to offer their education online or in hybrid form or by providing homework to students. Candidates will follow the HEC Closing HEIs Guidance during the COVID-19 period and the winter holidays will be announced from 25-12-2020 to 10-01-2021.
The review meeting will be held in the first week of January to review the situation of COVID-19 in the country and the decision to reopen educational institutions will be made in the light of the recommendation of this review meeting. It is also announced that all exams scheduled to take place in December will be canceled, but the MDCAT, entrance and recruitment exams will be excluded and the small exams with fewer than 30 students can also be taken during the COVID-19 period .
