Punjab Government Announces Scholarships For Eligible Students

Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar
has announced the scholarships for students from Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA). The government announced that it would award the scholarships to 22,000 deserving students. Governor Punjab announced this at a press conference, adding that this four-year scholarship program will offer 18,346 semi-funded and 1,216 fully-funded scholarships. He also said the existing Baloch students' scholarships will also remain intact. This is considered to be the largest scholarship program as it will help thousands of students from different provinces.

Scholarships for students

Given the history of 72 years, the government has not taken such a large initiative. Now the students benefit from the announced scholarships and can complete their studies without financial problems. The Punjab government asked students to contact the officials if they encountered difficulties with the scholarship program. Chaudhry Sarwar made sure he kept his promises regarding the program.
